Cape Town - Western Cape police have offered a R50 000 reward for information which could lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a triple murder in Philippi.

Police spokesman Colonel Tembinkosi Kinana said on Tuesday the reward would be given for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Three weeks ago, high court interpreter Elliot Lunga Qukwana, 50, Mxolisi Zantsi, 39 and Melikhaya Zantsi, 22, were shot dead while standing on the porch of their home in Philippi after a night vigil for a relative , Odwa Sikemela, 21, who was murdered near Section 47 on July 20.
