Cape Town – Driving to the chemist along Church Street in Kuils River, Clinton Felix, 33, fell victim to a racially charged road rage incident when a biker attacked him for driving over speed bumps too slowly.

This happened “in a flash” said Felix, who was concerned about the safety of his two daughters, aged two and 10, in his car.

Felix said he was hit in the face and then verbally abused by the motorcyclist, who used racist slurs. “He called me a half-**** Hotnot. My children were screaming and crying while their father was being attacked.”

The biker knocked into the side of his car which he still has to repair. “We got into a fight do not allow anyone, any racist to treat you like a dog or a slave.”

Police opened an assault case. Felix intends to lodge a complaint with the SA Human Rights Commission.
