A man accused of raping six boys appeared in the Hermanus Magistrate's Court on Monday, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said.

Spokesman Eric Ntabazalila said the case was postponed until July 24 for further investigation.

The man would remain in custody as he abandoned his bail application at his last appearance in May.

He allegedly lured six boys, aged between seven and 12, to his shack in Mashakane informal settlement and made them watch pornographic movies before raping them. – Sapa
