A rapist was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Mankweng Regional Court, Limpopo police said on Wednesday.
Piet Malebele Makoga, 24, from GaMothapo, was sentenced on Tuesday for the rape of a 20-year-old woman in September 2010, Constable Moses Molepo said.
He attacked the woman in her home after she let him in, when he fooled her into thinking he was her boyfriend. The woman reported the crime and Makoga was arrested later that day. - Sapa
