Johannesburg - The Labour Court has granted permission for the live broadcast of trade union Solidarity’s case against the SABC on Thursday.
This follows the union bringing a formal application on Wednesday to obtain permission for the live broadcast of the court session.
Solidarity had earlier in the day accused the SABC of further censorship following its opposing the application.

It wants the court to set aside the dismissal of the journalists and that the disciplinary process against them be halted in its entirety.
This follows them and three others being shown the door for objecting to SABC’s new censorship policy. The broadcaster agreed today after losing a battle in the high court in Pretoria to revert back to its old policy.
