The corruption case against a testing officer at the SA Bureau of Standards (SABS) was postponed by the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
The matter would continue on April 13, Limpopo police spokesman Lt-Col Mohale Ramatseba said.
Tshepo Mnisi, 32, was arrested after allegedly demanding R15,000 from a businessman to certify that chairs, fitted to a truck converted for game viewing, complied with the bureau's standards.
Mnisi allegedly called the businessman and told him his application had failed, but if he paid the money he would get the certificate. The businessman contacted the Hawks and Mnisi was arrested after allegedly accepting R12,000. He was out on bail of R1000. - Sapa
