No pedastrians to push you out of the way or stomp on your toes. No train to complete your suicide attempt. So go ahead, indulge in those inner thoughts. Picture: Oupa Mokoena

Durban - A 14-year-old boy was robbed and pushed off a moving train near Warner Beach in Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu-Natal, on Friday, paramedics said.

“The patient told paramedics that he was apparently robbed of his possessions before he was pushed off the train,” ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said.

The teenager sustained minor injuries. When paramedics arrived on the scene the boy was crying, Meiring said.

He was assessed and taken to a hospital in Umlazi, south of Durban.

A cellphone and a bag were stolen from him.
