A security guard appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Monday for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl, Johannesburg metro police said.
Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said metro police arrested the 20-year-old man after they received a tip-off that he lived in Hillbrow.
“The man allegedly raped the... girl from when she was 13. She lived in a townhouse complex with her mother,” Minnaar said.
“The man worked as a security guard in the complex. The mother would let him into her... (flat) to warm his food. This happened regularly.”
The case was postponed for further investigation. - Sapa
