Polokwane - Six people accused of fraud related to Limpopo transport department tenders worth R63 million appeared in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, the Hawks said.

Calvin Legodi and his son Sekgobokgobo Legodi, Hlangelani Phasha, Cedric Tshepo Phukuje, Betty Mashashane and Portia Sebela would be back in court on March 26, said Captain Paul Ramaloko. He said they were directors of four different companies. Two of them were co-directors.

The department allegedly paid them R63 million in 2011 over a period of two months.

Another group, which included Tshepo Malema - Julius Malema's cousin - appeared on Tuesday on similar charges. - Sapa
