Johannesburg - Two police officers accused of benefiting from a secret crime intelligence slush fund appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Thursday, the Hawks said.

Captain Paul Ramaloko said the case against Maj-Gen Solly Lazarus and Colonel Hein Barnard was postponed until April 11.

They are accused of corruption, allegedly involving R1.1 million.

In their previous court appearance, they were granted bail of R10,000 each.

They have since been suspended from the police force. - Sapa
