Johannesburg - A man allegedly strangled his wife and then killed himself in Naledi, Soweto, Gauteng police said on Sunday.
The 45-year-old man was found hanging from a pole in his yard on Saturday, Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.
Neighbours found his body on Sunday morning and informed family members, who stayed in rooms outside his house.
His wife's body was found in the couple's bedroom inside the house.
She had been strangled.
