Two Polokwane students have been robbed of laptops, cellphones and other goods to the value of more than R10 000, Limpopo police said on Sunday.

The students aged 19 and 22 were watching television in their room in Polokwane when two men attacked them on Saturday night, said Lt-Col Malesela Ledwaba.

“The men forced the door open and entered the house and told the students to co-operate and avoid being shot,” he said.

A laptop, four cellular phones, two pairs of takkies, a suitcase, a wallet and clothes were among the things stolen.

The students were ordered to lie under a bed during the robbery.

Ledwaba said the robbers seemed to have made their escape in a getaway car which waited for them nearby. - Sapa
