A taxi driver was stabbed to death at the Dobsonville taxi rank in Soweto on Thursday evening, Gauteng police said.
The taxi driver and a queue marshal had an argument around 6pm because the driver refused to take on two more passengers, Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.
The marshal pulled out a knife and stabbed the driver in the neck three times. The driver died on the scene. The marshal fled the scene. Police were investigating. - Sapa
