A teenager appeared in the Mpumalanga Magistrate's Court on Thursday for murder, KwaZulu-Natal police said.

The matter was postponed for further investigation,” said Captain Thulani Zwane.

Zwane was not immediately able to furnish a date for the next court appearance.

On March 17, the teenaged boy and Norman Dlamini, 21, were at Mgabes Shange shebeen in Mpumalanga, outside Pinetown, when the two were involved in an argument, said Zwane.

“The two fought and their fight ended up in the nearby bushes. The suspect fled the scene and no one bothered to ask what happened to Dlamini.”

A missing person's case was opened and a search was conducted on March 20.

“Dlamini's body was found in nearby bushes,” Zwane said.

He had wounds all over his body, he said. - Sapa
