A youth has been killed, allegedly by his girlfriend, in Ga-Mothapo, Limpopo.

A 17-year-old Limpopo youth has been killed, allegedly by his 14-year-old girlfriend, in Ga-Mothapo in Makanye Section, police said on Wednesday.

Constable Moses Molepo said during a quarrel on Tuesday the girl stabbed him in the chest with a knife.

The boy, Andries Kubayi, was a Grade 10 pupil at a local school. Residents alerted police. Kubayi died on the scene.
