Teen’s body found in veld

Grahamstown -

A case of murder was being investigated after the body of a young man was found in the veld in Grahamstown early on Thursday morning, police said.

“The victim is believed to be in his mid to late teens. He had sustained severe wounds to his upper body and limbs. The motive for the attack is not known,” Captain Mali Govender said.

She said the identity of the teen was not yet known, but he was dressed in a blue tracksuit with a grey lumber jacket and a pair of black and grey takkies.
