Cape Town -

Three Ghana nationals were arrested at Cape Town International Airport on Friday with stolen goods valued at R50 000, police said.

Border police searched their luggage and found two laptops and 31 cellphones, said Warrant Officer November Filander.

Some of the items were linked to robbery and housebreaking cases in the Cape Town area.

The two women, aged 39 and 28, and a man, 39, were en-route to Ghana via Namibia.

They were expected to appear in the Bellville Magistrate's Court soon. - Sapa
