Three men have been arrested for possession of dagga in Zola North, Soweto, police said on Wednesday.
Patrolling police stopped a car in the area on Tuesday, searched it and found drugs with an estimated street value of R5 000, Warrant Officer Kay Makhubele said.
He said police believed the three were dealing in dagga, but that the charge they faced was possession of drugs. Investigations were continuing.
They would appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court on Thursday. – Sapa
