Johannebsurg - Three women have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a man in Meadowlands, Soweto police said on Tuesday.
The women, aged 29, 54, and 58, allegedly attacked the man on Saturday evening, Constable Sibusiso Chauke said.
The man was walking in Zone Three, Meadowlands, when he came across one of the women. She accused him of assaulting her child, which he denied. She allegedly started assaulting him and bystanders joined in.
“They used (their) hands and one also used a brick. The victim sustained some injuries,” Chauke said.
The women were expected to appear in the Meadowlands Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
