Bryanston, Johannesburg - Three more people were arrested after being linked to the recovery in Bryanston, Johannesburg, of drugs worth about R100 million, police said.

A gardener and two domestic workers were arrested at a house in Bryanston where drugs were recovered during a raid on Wednesday, said Colonel Vish Naidoo.

The arrest brought to eight the number of people in custody in connection with the discovery of a drug factory in the upmarket suburb. The factory is believed to have been manufacturing mandrax.

Five others, including two brothers, their wives and a domestic worker were arrested on Wednesday.

They were expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Friday to faces charges related to the possession and manufacturing of drugs. - Sapa
