Polokwane – Police in Seshego, Polokwane are investigating a case of culpable homicide after three women were killed when they were hit by a bakkie alongside the Leokama and Matlala road near Seshego on Saturday morning, Limpopo police said.

“It is alleged that a Nissan NP 200 van driven by a 53-year-old man knocked down five ladies aged between 24 and 46 years old, killing three instantly, and the other two were taken to the hospital with serious injuries,” Lt-Col Moatshe Ngoepe said.

“During this accident the deceased and the injured were waiting for transport to go and attend a political rally in Seshego. The police investigations are still continuing,” Ngoepe said.
