A 32-year-old man was arrested on a charge of raping a toddler in Willowvale, Eastern Cape police said on Monday.
Captain Jackson Manatha said the man was arrested on Sunday afternoon after the mother of a two-year-old girl found visible signs that her daughter had been raped and reported it to police.
She had left her daughter with a family friend in Nkojane township on Sunday morning to attend church.
The man would appear in the Willowvale Magistrate's Court soon, Manatha said. - Sapa
