Mookgopong - The trial of six teenagers accused of killing three children will begin in the Mokopane Regional Court on February 25, Limpopo police said on Monday.

“The six appeared in the Mookgopong Magistrate's Court on Monday for a trial date to be set,” said Colonel Ronel Otto.

The teenagers, aged between 12 and 14, are accused of killing nine-year-old Bafana Kekana, his brother Hosea Kekana, 10, and their cousin Johanna Kekana, 12, in August.

The three lived at the Montadi Youth Care Centre. They were found stoned to death. Their hands and feet had been bound with shoelaces.
