Three men were arrested on Thursday at a house where the drug tik was manufactured in Marlboro, Johannesburg, police said.

Lt-Col Katlego Mogale said the three foreign men were caught processing tik at the house in Johannesburg.

“Crystal meth in different stages of being processed into marketable drugs was confiscated,” she said.

The value of the chemicals, equipment and drugs was estimated at R1 million. Police also seized five cellphones and R1000 in cash.

The men faced charges of manufacturing and dealing in drugs and would appear in the Wynberg Magistrate's Court on Monday. - Sapa
