Rustenburg - Three men accused of killing the NUM's Marikana chairman appeared in the Tlhabane Magistrate's Court in Rustenburg on Thursday, North West police said.
The matter was postponed to November 7 and they remained in custody, said Brigadier Thulani Ngubane.
The National Union of Mineworkers' office bearer was shot eight times in the Nkaneng informal settlement on October 22.
Ngubane said William Setelele, 46, was driving when four men emerged from bushes and shot at his car. He was hit once while he was driving and another seven times after he stopped and got out of the car. He died on the scene.
The men, aged between 33 and 37, were all denied bail in their last court appearance a week ago.
