Trevor Tutu, the son of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, was arrested in Swaziland on St Valentine's Day, according to reports.
The Randburg Magistrate's Court issued a warrant for his arrest for contempt of court after he failed to attend his maintenance court case on several occasions, the Sunday Sun reported.
Tutu was caught at a roadblock by Swaziland police while on visit to the country last Thursday.
Sunday World reported that, after he was arrested, the police took him to the Lebombo border gate and he was handed over to South African authorities.
Tutu appeared in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on a charge of contempt of court and the case was postponed to March 7.
He was unavailable for comment, the newspaper reported. - Sapa
