Rustenburg - Two men were arrested for possession of suspected stolen goods in Tlhabane near Rustenburg, North West police said on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said the two, aged 22 and 26, were arrested on Monday, during routine stop-and-search operations.
The police spotted a suspicious white Toyota Tazz with two occupants, driving towards Yizo Yizo informal settlement in Tlhabane, he said.
“The police managed to stop the vehicle for a search. Upon searching the vehicle, suspected stolen properties including plasma television, computer monitor, laptop charger and other items were found.”
The two were expected to appear in the Bafokeng Magistrate’s Court in Tlhabane on Wednesday.
