Cape Town - Two teenagers were killed and two other people wounded in gang crossfire in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town, Western Cape police said on Sunday.

Colonel Tembinkosi Kinana said police were called out to the gang shooting in Skorpal street around 8pm on Saturday.

A 12-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy were killed. Two seriously injured people were transported to hospital.

“Police have opened cases of attempted murder and murder for investigation. No arrests have been made at this stage,” he said. - Sapa
