Johannesburg - Two men have been arrested after they allegedly shot dead two young men in Dlamini Village, Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Friday.

Captain Thulane Zwane said the victims, Sthembiso Mbatha, 19, and Mzanini Luswazi, 22, were in their house on Stratford farm when they were attacked.

The motive for the killings was not immediately clear.

Zwane said police were alerted, and investigations led to the arrest of two men aged 21, and 32.

They were found in possession of two 9mm pistols.

The pair would appear in the Dundee Magistrate's Court on Friday on charges of murder and possession of unlicensed firearms. - Sapa
