Butterworth - Two men were arrested in Butterworth on Tuesday for illegal possession of firearms, Eastern Cape police said.
“The men, aged 28 and 36, were believed to be on a mission to rob some shops at a local mall,” Captain Jackson Manatha said.
They were expected to appear in the Butterworth Magistrate's Court on Wednesday on charges of possession of firearms and ammunition.
