Johannesburg - Two men who allegedly stabbed a policeman to death and hijacked his vehicle were arrested in Kagiso, on the West Rand, on Tuesday, police said.
Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya said the two 25-year-old men were linked to the killing of Constable Mpho Gift Boshomane.
About two weeks ago, Boshomane, 33, was sitting in his car in Kagiso Extension Two when the two approached him.
They allegedly stabbed him several times, pulled him out his car and fled in it. Police later recovered the Volkswagen Polo with the registration number removed. Boshomane's firearm was still under the driver's seat.
The men were expected to appear soon in court. - Sapa
