Johannesburg - Two men who were arrested for dealing dagga will appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Monday.

Warrant Officer Xoli Mbele said the two, aged 23 and 30, were arrested at the corner of Banket and Plein Streets in Johannesburg on Saturday.

He said police were patrolling the area when they saw a “suspicious” man and searched him.

“Police recovered a plastic (bag) with dagga and he took the police (to) where he bought it,” Mbele said.

“Police found a dustbin with four plastic (bags) full of dagga weighing 17 kilograms.”
