Klerksdorp, North West - Two men appeared in the Klerksdorp Magistrate's Court on Monday after they were allegedly caught selling fake matric certificates and tertiary diplomas.
North West police spokesman Brigadier Thulani Ngubane said Masiu Masiu, 35, and Macdonald Hermans, 32, were arrested on Friday after a tip-off from residents. The two were arrested during a meeting with one of their clients in a restaurant.
They were allegedly selling fake matric certificates, diplomas in nursing and engineering, and trading certificates, for R4500.
The two were released on R500 bail each and would be back in court again on November 2. - Sapa
