Two Free State men accused of theft, house breaking and possession of stolen goods have appeared in the Thaba Nchu Magistrate's Court, police said on Friday.

Captain Tseko Mokgahle said the pair appeared on Thursday and would be back on June 26 for a bail application.

Mokgahle said police acted on a tip-off that led to the arrest of the men aged 21 and 22 on Wednesday, after criminal cases were opened in January, March, April and June this year.

Mokgahle said police went to a house in Thaba Nchu Zone Five, where various goods were discovered.
