Cape Town - Two people accused of shooting dead an off-duty policeman appeared in the Western Cape High Court on Friday.
Marchallino Frazenburg and Octavia Witbooi appeared for a pre-trial conference before Judge Robert Henney.
He warned them to return for another pre-trial conference on August 8.
They were charged with the death of Constable Brandon Mapoe, 29, last July.
Mapoe was shot dead at a home in Dassenberg Street, Tafelsig.
At the time, Western Cape police spokesman Lt-Col Andre Traut said they had reason to believe the shooting was preceded by an argument.
Mapoe had been stationed at the Cape Town central police station. - Sapa
