Vereeniging - Proceedings to sentence two serial rapists are expected to start in the Vereeniging Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, police said.
Captain Shado Mashobane on Monday said Boitumelo Steven Galubetse, 35, and Bongani David Madlala, 36, were convicted on November 30 after they were linked to 102 cases including robbery, rape, kidnapping and pointing of a firearm.
“The two suspects were terrorising the De Deur area, raping women who were going to work in the early hours of the morning and late evenings between 2006 and 2008.”
