Two suspected ATM bombers arrested

Johannesburg - Two men were arrested for allegedly being in possession of explosives in southern Johannesburg, metro police said on Monday.

Chief-Supt Wayne Minnaar said metro police officers received a tip-off on Sunday that two men, driving a white Hyundai, were on their way to bomb an ATM in Sebokeng.

A car matching the description was stopped on the R29. A search revealed 27 sticks of dynamite.

Two men, aged 27 and 28, were arrested and would appear in court soon. - Sapa
