A 32-year-old man wanted for several crimes, including three counts of murder, was arrested in Ntuzuma, north of the Durban, on Tuesday, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
He was also wanted for attempted murder, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, pointing a firearm, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, and kidnapping, Captain Thulani Zwane said.
The man allegedly shot dead a 56-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman and a six-year-old girl in Lindelani, Ntuzuma in March this year.
Zwane said the man appeared in the Ntuzuma Magistrate's Court on Tuesday. His case was postponed to June 29 for a bail application.
