Cape Town - A Cape Town woman has been arrested in Mitchells Plain for possession of drugs with an estimated street value of R150 000, Western Cape police said on Wednesday.
Captain Frederick van Wyk said officers searched a house in Eastridge on Tuesday morning after being tipped off by the community.
They found six big plastic packets and 150 smaller packets of tik (methamphetamine). They also found a scale and a bag sealer, he said.
“We wish to thank the active community structures in the Eastridge sector for their commitment and assistance, the relationship that has been built and the partnership is now evident in the successes that are being seen,” Van Wyk said. - Sapa
