A woman was killed when she fell on an illegal electricity connection in Duncan Village, East London police said on Thursday.
Captain Steven Marais said it was raining in the area when the 39-year-old woman tripped over the connection On Wednesday night.
This was the second time in two weeks a person was electrocuted in Duncan Village because of an illegal power connection.
A 47-year-old man was killed when he stepped on a connection in wet weather on December 24, 2011.
