Willowvale, Eastern Cape - A woman was found stabbed to death at her home in Willowvale on Tuesday morning, Eastern Cape police said.

“It is alleged that the victim was found by neighbours who noticed a broken window on the side of her house... neighbours pushed the door open and she was found lying in a pool of blood,” Captain Jackson Manatha said.

The woman, 49, lived alone in Mgojweni location, Nqadu village, Willowvale.

“It is not clear what took place, but police suspect the woman might have been murdered during the night of Monday.”
