Durban - A young KwaZulu-Natal woman, Trisha Naidoo, is fighting for her life after she was doused with petrol and set alight, allegedly by a man known to her.
The man, 35, appeared in the KwaDukuza Magistrate’s Court on charges of attempted murder on Monday. He was remanded in custody pending a bail application on December 6.
The family of the 26-year-old Naidoo declined to comment on the incident but staged a protest outside court on Monday.
