Johannesburg - Two women, aged 21 and 23, were arrested for allegedly assaulting another woman with a broomstick in Moletsane, Soweto, police said on Thursday.
The women allegedly assaulted the 22-year-old woman for “stealing” the 23-year-old's boyfriend, Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.
“The woman was severely injured and is in hospital,” Makhubela said.
They were expected to appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court on Friday. - Sapa
