A youth appeared in the Mankweng Magistrate's Court on Monday for allegedly raping three students at the University of Limpopo, police said.

The case was postponed to July 2 for further investigation. The 19-year-old remained in custody, said Constable Moses Molepo.

He allegedly broke into the women's off-campus rooms, which were far apart, and raped them between 10pm on February 22 and 3am on February 23. Laptops and cellphones were also stolen.
