Polokwane - The decision on whether to disband the ANC Limpopo leadership will be taken next month, ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe said on Monday.
The provincial leadership was going to be investigated, Mantashe told reporters in Polokwane.
Provincial deployments would be probed as well as allegations of purging supporters of President Jacob Zuma.
There was dissatisfaction over the removal of some people seen to be backing Zuma, during the lobbying before the African National Congress' Mangaung conference.
“We will interrogate whether the changes were genuine, based on performance, or were factional,” Mantashe said.
He was talking after a two-day meeting between the ANC's national working committee (NWC) and the provincial executive committee (PEC) in Polokwane. - Sapa
