The ANC has welcomed President Jacob Zuma's appointment of a national task team to look into the Limpopo textbooks saga.
Spokesman Jackson Mthembu said disciplinary action should be taken against anyone found to have had a hand in the non-delivery of books.
“We are still shocked and embarrassed that six months into the year, there are still some learners in Limpopo who are still without the necessary school books,” he said.
“The African National Congress strongly condemns the alleged senseless dumping of so-much needed textbooks by our pupils in river streams.” – Sapa
