Johannesburg - Co-operation is the only way the African National Congress can be stopped and the Freedom Front Plus will be following a new course to bring a new dispensation for South Africa, leader Pieter Mulder said on Saturday.
The FF Plus launched its revised mission and its election campaign for 2014 in Pretoria.
The search for a solution for the oppression of Afrikaners and other minority groups should be realistic, modern and fair for everyone, Mulder said in a statement.
“There is a place for every one of us in this country. The FF Plus' reworded mission does not only want to motivate the Afrikaners, but also other minority groups,” he said.
“Together we have one goal and that is to defeat the ANC.”
He criticised the ruling party and said that at present there was a “tyranny of a majority without any say for minorities in this country”.
That was the reason why it was imperative for a new order to be established in which recognition was given to the diversity of the country and its people, he said.
“In the process the FF Plus has irrevocably committed itself to co-operation with other communities. We ask for a dispensation for the Afrikaners, but will also fight for other minorities to obtain it,” Mulder said.
