Johannesburg - Close to a thousand Democratic Alliance supporters had gathered inside the Ellis Park indoor arena in Johannesburg on Saturday for the party's rally for jobs.

Several of the supports sang and danced as local hip-hop artist ProKid took to the stage.

Two DA ward councillors were also on the stage signing and dancing while waving party flags.

The crowd, most dressed in DA attire, sang and cheered.

The stage was decorated in the party's traditional blue and white, signs and banners.

One sign read “believe in change,” while another banner read “Maimane for change”. - Sapa
