Johannesburg - Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe will visit the Republic of Poland, the department of international relations said on Tuesday.

“Motlanthe, will undertake an official visit to... Poland from 14-15 March 2014, at the invitation of the Prime Minister... Donald Franciszek Tusk,” the department said in a statement.

“(Motlanthe and Franciszek) will review the status of bilateral relations and build on the outcomes of the bilateral consultations held on 17 October 2013 in Pretoria.”

Motlanthe would lead a ministerial and business delegation during the visit to enhance trade and economic co-operation.

He would be accompanied by several Cabinet ministers.
