Home Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma is expected to attend Saturday's funeral for seven school children killed in a car accident, her office said.

“Minister Dlamini-Zuma will attend the funeral service in Bulwer, which constitutes part of her parliamentary constituency, to offer her support to members of the bereavement (sic) families,” the department said in a statement on Friday.

The children were killed on Monday when their bakkie overturned on the R617 between Bulwer and Underberg, KwaZulu-Natal.

The minister was expected to arrive in Bulwer on Friday afternoon and visit their families. - Sapa
